My name is Ellita, I'm currently an Illustration student in my final year at Leeds Arts University, graduating in 2026. ​​​

​I am an Illustrator and visual storyteller based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. I like to explore a wide range of formats from children's book illustration, to short GIFs and animations, to exhibition work and stand-alone illustrations. ​​​

​All of my work centres around a narrative focus, while exploring different mediums and approaches to image making. I love to paint with big brushes, collage with mixed media, make detailed coloured pencil drawings and occasionally dabble in fabric and embroidery. ​​​

​My work is all about bright playful images that search for an emotional honesty, often connecting to themes of nostalgia and childlike awe, with a focus on curiosity in nature. I want to use my work to bring joy and a moment to slow down and appreciate the beauty around us. ​​
